Ivy Longmire

Ivy commenced with Elders in 2023 and is a Livestock Production Specialist, based at Elders Lake Cargelligo. She also supports livestock producers in the western Riverina regions of Hillston and West Wyalong.

Having grown up on a family farm, Ivy has always been passionate about livestock production. She completed a Bachelor of Animal Science with Distinction at Charles Sturt University and a Certificate IV in Wool Classing through TAFE NSW,

Initially Ivy started with Elders as a Retail Sales Representative, before transitioning into Livestock Production sales and advice role. She assists producers with animal health and grazing consultations, cattle pregnancy testing, faecal worm egg counts and tailored nutritional advice.

What Amy loves most about her role is working alongside producers to help achieve practical, profitable outcomes and seeing that advice make a real difference on farm. Building genuine relationships through a shared passion for livestock and rural living, with plenty of laughs along the way, is what makes her role so rewarding.

In her spare time, you will usually find Amy playing netball with the Lake Cargelligo Tigers or supporting our footy boys with some fantastic advice from the sidelines. She loves making the most of our beautiful lake during summer, spending time skiing with family and friends. She also enjoys travelling and exploring new places, although loves heading home to the family farm to spend time with the family.
