Marc Worsfold has this month joined the Elders Loxton team as their new Territory Sales Manager (Stock and Station Agent).
In this role, Marc will provide livestock sales advice to his clients, identify sales opportunities and bring buyers and sellers together.
A Riverland local, Marc was born and bred in Wunkar, and prior to joining Elders, worked in general farming and sheep production, most recently managing Wanbi Park Feedlot.
Marc said he is eager to begin work for Elders.
“I am most looking forward to the new relationships I’ll build with clients on this new adventure,” he said.
“It’s a role that I am sure will come with its own set of challenges, but I’m excited to get into it.
“I was instantly drawn to Elders because of the team atmosphere. They’re a great bunch and have welcomed me to the team right away.”
Elders Livestock Manager for Northern South Australia, Damien Webb, said Marc is the perfect fit for the Loxton branch.
“It is great that we have found Marc who will provide specialist livestock advice and also knows the local area. You really can’t beat local knowledge,” he said.
Marc joining the Loxton team is the latest in a suite of exciting developments for the branch.
Since opening the doors to their brand-new branch location in August 2022, the team has hosted a variety of information nights for clients, covering topics such as pre-lambing, ewe management and grain marketing. Agronomists Brian Lynch and Steve Lehmann have also been busy, recently hosting 27 New Zealand ag tech delegates at Century Orchards in Loxton.
