Hsiu Ling Mai

Hsiu Ling Mai (Ling), commenced with Elders in 2022 and is Head of Sustainability, based at Elders' head office in Adelaide.

As Head of Sustainability, Ling leads the integration of Elders’ sustainability strategy and the embedding of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles across the organisation to drive long-term value, ethical conduct, and climate resilience. With a background in finance, risk management, and business transformation across diverse industry sectors, she brings deep expertise in ESG reporting, internal controls, and corporate governance.

Ling is responsible for aligning Elders with the Australian Sustainability Reporting Standards (ASRS). This includes the delivery of emissions disclosures and climate-related financial reporting. Ling also oversees Elders’ modern slavery program, promoting responsible sourcing and upholding ethical business practices across the supply chain.

She is a Chartered Accountant (CA ANZ), holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Management Information Systems. Ling has also completed the Business Sustainability Management course at the University of Cambridge. She is also a graduate of the Australian Rural Leadership Foundation’s Agribusiness Leadership Program.

In her spare time Ling enjoys spending time with family and friends, travelling and playing tennis.
