Brendan Magee

Brendan commenced with Elders in 2011 and is a Senior Agronomist at Elders Beaudesert, Queensland. He brings over 13 years of experience in broadacre and horticultural crop production. His expertise spans pest management, crop nutrition, ag tech and sustainable farming practices, making him a trusted advisor to producers across the Scenic Rim region.

Brendan is renowned for his proactive approach to challenges like Fall Armyworm infestations, where he combines field experience with innovative solutions to protect yields and support growers.​

Beyond agronomy, Brendan is a passionate advocate for rural mental health, having initiated “Mental Health Mondays” at Elders. This initiative encourages open conversations among staff and clients, aiming to reduce stigma and promote wellbeing. ​

His commitment to community engagement is evident through his involvement in events like the Beaudesert Show, where he serves as Chief Steward for pasture judging. Brendan's dedication to both agricultural innovation and community wellbeing continues to shape a more resilient and connected rural Australia.
