Elders will be the naming rights sponsor for the Elders Love Lismore Show 2023, held at the Lismore Showgrounds from Thursday 19 October to Saturday 21 October 2023, North Coast National President John Gibson announced today.
“Elders have come on board for the next three years and I thank them for their support of the Show and our community,” he said.
“We are looking forward to working with Elders to put on a great show this year after we attracted record crowds last year.
“The Show has been at the heart of our community since 1885 and is where memories are made. I invite everyone to come along this year to catch up with old friends and make new ones.
“It is not long until October and now is the time to get ready for the return of our regular popular competitions and exhibitions. We already have some great attractions booked including the Ashton circus that will perform throughout each day and a petting zoo.
“The very popular FMX bikes will return, along with Monster Trucks, woodchop, a Lego competition for schools, reptiles, jet packs, fireworks and a community stage with a range of local acts.”
Elders Rural Services first opened its doors in South Lismore in February of 2023, to improve its customers’ access to rural products and services. Branch Manager Mat Duley and his local team are excited by the immediate opportunity this partnership presents for the Lismore agricultural community.
“The Lismore show has long been an important event in the calendars of local community and agricultural society. Our team are proud to be working with the Show to make it one of the most successful years yet for the community,” said Mr Duley.
Nominations are also now open for the 2023 North Coast National Young Woman and Teen Showgirl Competitions.
Last year’s Young Woman Tara Coles went on to represent the North Coast at the Sydney Royal Easter Show, winning the inaugural Show Announcers Academy Scholarship.
