Expertise and innovation on display at Dowerin Field Days

Western Australian producers will have plenty to explore when the Dowerin Machinery Field Days return for 2025 on 27 and 28 August.

The Elders team (shown here at Dowerin Machinery Field Days 2024) are ready to welcome you on 27 and 28 August.

With a strong line-up across both days bringing together trusted services, new innovations, and expert advice, Elders will be on site at PB4 (download the map now). Come and meet the team, explore services, and see what’s new.

Elders’ WA State General Manager Matt Ericsson said Dowerin was one of the most valuable events on the rural calendar.

“Dowerin is where the conversations happen, whether it’s about market conditions, seasonal challenges, or the next step for someone’s business” Matt said.

“We’re bringing our team, our services, and some exciting innovations so we can connect directly with clients and the broader community.”

On Wednesday 27 August (Day 1), Elders’ Board members will be on-site, offering clients and visitors a chance to meet and talk with those shaping the direction of the business.  From 3.00pm that afternoon, everyone is invited to the Elders Sundowner event. Special guest West Coast Eagles Premiership player Will Schofield will speak on leadership and sport, alongside members of the Elders Board.

The Elders site will feature core services including real estate, finance, agronomy, livestock production, wool, and insurance. This year there will be a stronger focus on finance, with Elders introducing a new in-house finance solution designed to simplify access to working capital, seasonal lending, and equipment finance, all tailored for primary producers. On-site finance specialists will be available to discuss how they can support your planning and growth.

We are also putting the spotlight on agtech and innovation, showcasing tools to support smarter agronomic decisions, traceability, and integrated farm management systems.

A team of specialists from across WA will be on hand throughout both days, offering advice informed by local conditions and real-world challenges. Visitors can book a meeting with any Elders specialist at the site and will receive an Elders showbag for taking the time. There will be raffles, giveaways, and activities for all ages, as well as complimentary coffee.

“We’re proud to be part of Dowerin again this year. Whether people want to talk business, explore new ideas, or just catch up with the team over a coffee, the door is open,” Matt said.
