As the proud naming rights sponsor, Elders is again looking forward to welcoming attendees to Elders FarmFest.

The three-day event will be held 3 to 5 June at Kingsthorpe in the heart of the Darling Downs. Visitors can expect an exciting showcase of the latest in farm machinery, technology, services, and rural innovation. With over 2,500 individual companies represented across hundreds of exhibits, there’s something for every sector, whether you're involved in livestock, cropping, horticulture, or farm services.
Elders Qld/NT State General Manager Lisa Hewitt said Elders FarmFest continues to be a cornerstone of the agricultural calendar and this year, in the event’s 50th year, Elders is proud to add even more value for attendees.
“We are really looking forward to connecting with our clients, showcasing the latest innovations, and continuing to support the future of primary industries,” Lisa said.
“We look forward to having everyone along to celebrate 50 years of Elders FarmFest. We welcome all attendees to the Elders site for a free coffee, courtesy of our great friends and partners RFDS (Queensland Section), and of course a chat with our friendly team.”
In 2025, Elders is proud to introduce a fresh line-up of exciting events. The iconic big red Elders tent will serve as the heart of the Elders FarmFest event program, hosting a range of engaging events and workshops designed to add real value for farmers and their businesses.
Specialist workshops will explore pressing issues such as renewable energy solutions for farms, biodiversity management, carbon farming opportunities, succession planning strategies, and tailored financial solutions. These sessions will be led by experts from across the Elders network and wider industry, offering practical insights that attendees can take straight back to their businesses.
Quickly becoming an exciting event on the Elders FarmFest agenda, and back for the second year, the Elders x Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) (Queensland Section) ‘Next Generation Breakfast’ will provide a networking opportunity and panel session to support and celebrate the future leaders of agriculture.
The event will feature a panel led by editor of the Queensland Country Life and North Queensland Register, Lucy Kinbacher, and include leading rural storytellers and influencers from across the state, highlighting the power of storytelling in shaping the future of agriculture.
RFDS (Queensland Section) Executive General Manager Commercial and Corporate Affairs Carole Tokody said RFDS’s partnership with Elders is underpinned by both organisations’ commitment to improving the health, wellbeing and prosperity of those who live, work and travel in regional and remote communities.
“We’re proud to be partnering with Elders again to support what we see as an important step in developing Queensland’s next generation of rural leaders,” Carole said.
“Our two organisations are intrinsically linked to regional, rural and remote communities and the RFDS remains a vital part of providing high quality health initiatives to ensure everyone, no matter where they are, receives the finest care.”
The breakfast will be held from 7:30am on Wednesday 4 June at the Elders Tent, which is site G/H, 26-28. Tickets can be purchased on Eventbrite.
The 50th anniversary of Elders FarmFest is not just about looking back at how far agriculture has come; it’s about looking forward to the opportunities that lie ahead. As always, Elders is committed to supporting the future of primary industries.
