The Ariah Park community gathered last week to celebrate the opening of the new and improved Elders Ariah Park branch.
Located next door to the original site, the new branch is a far cry from what Elders Ariah Park started out in over 20 years ago. In the new location, the branch will be able to expand its offering of rural products, agronomy, livestock and real estate alongside acquired local business AL Chalmers Fertiliser. The team, along with Elders staff from neighbouring branches, and valued clients, came together to enjoy an afternoon tea, drinks, and cake on Friday afternoon.
The branch was opened by the Hon Michael McCormack MP, Federal Member for Riverina, and former Deputy Prime Minister. Mr McCormack was joined by councillor Mr Nigel Judd OAM representing the Temora Council.
“It is great to see such a large investment into the Ariah Park community,” said Mr McCormack.
“This kind of investment is a mark of confidence in Ariah Park and will benefit farmers, families and the youth of Ariah Park for years to come. It is clear from the many community members attending the opening, this new facility is warmly welcomed and is a new milestone for Ariah Park. The new facility is huge step up in amenities for both customers and staff. I thank all involved who made this red-letter day possible.”
Lachlan Boyd, Elders Riverina Area Manager, thanked branch developer Mr Peter Miller of Forbes and local trades for the work in building the new facilities.
“This branch has been on our radar for a new location for over 13 years, and to now have a ultra-modern branch that you can drive through and be served, and for the staff to have their own space is fantastic.” Lachlan said.
Branch Manager Terry Edis was extremely grateful to their loyal client base and suppliers for sticking with them as they were waiting for the new branch.
“To our suppliers, your product is going to look presentable to our client base who purchase it; and to our clients, we are so happy to present a true clean, professional business,” Terry said.
“The key to our business is the relationships that we’ve built and continue to develop. Our long-term clients, and employees, are the key to success in our business.”
