Agronomist (Pasture)

Emma Goodall

Emma commenced with Elders in 2023 and is an Agronomist, specialising in pasture, based at Elders Maffra.  She initially worked in the Ballarat/Ararat region, before moving back to Gippsland, supporting producers in the Macalister Irrigation District through to Orbost region.

Originally hailing from a small-scale beef operation in the Adelaide Hills, Emma holds a Bachelor of Science (Agriculture) and a Bachelor of Equine Science through Charles Sturt University.

She specialised in pasture systems early, enjoying the crossover between plant growth and animal production. She also has experience in commercial agronomy, private consultancy, trial work and pasture seed production.

In her spare time, Emma competes on homebred Australian Stock Horses in eventing, show jumping, dressage and showing. She also retrains and competes off-the-track thoroughbreds. She hopes to get back to running marathons and racing Ironman triathlon.
