Agronomist (Broadacre)

Chris Hallion

Chris commenced with Elders in 2025 and is a Broadacre Agronomist based at Elders Roseworthy. He holds a Bachelor of Rural Science from the University of New England.

With over 20 years of hands-on agricultural experience, Chris brings a wealth of knowledge gained from managing large-scale broadacre cropping operations in South Australia's Mid-North.

His deep understanding of practical agronomy, soil health, and integrated pest and weed management - combined with extensive experience in precision ag - makes him an asset to the team, and your operation.

Chris has led strategic planning across the full farming cycle, from paddock-planning and crop establishment to machine optimisation and harvest logistics. He excels at bridging the gap between on-farm data and real-world machine use, to drive improved paddock performance.

Chris offers agronomic advice that is both technically sound and grounded in real-world farming challenges, making him well-placed to support clients.
