Richard Koch

Richard commenced with Elders in 2024 and is our Business Intelligence Analyst, responsible for writing our commodity market updates.

Richard has a Honours degree from UNE in Agricultural Economics, a Diploma in Applied Finance and Master of Business Administration. He ran his own market information service which supported the Australian agricultural industry for approximately six years, with around 2,000 subscribers to his weekly newsletter. 

He enjoys working with the Elders network to understand local market influences. He then combines this with his understanding of global market dynamics to inform clients and help them make better decisions.

In his spare time Richard enjoys golf, fishing and cooking. He used to own a restaurant during his hiatus from agriculture.
