Business Development & Program Manager, TESA

Elizabeth Gunner

Elizabeth (Liz) commenced with Elders in 2024 and is the Business Development and Program Manager for Thomas Elders Sustainabe Agriculture (TESA). She is based at our head office in Adelaide.

Liz oversees TESA’s portfolio of Research and Extension projects and partnerships. TESA’s aims in participating in Research and Extension projects is to open up opportunities for Elders technical staff and clients to benefit from learning about new products, technologies and practices in an effort to become more sustainable.

With a strong professional background in the agriculture, food and wine sectors, Liz brings considerable experience in marketing and business development. She has particular expertise in the areas of consumer behaviour, value chain analysis, strategic marketing and business development. This is complemented by time spent in the university sector, and research organisations like the CSIRO. She also offers valuable, practical insights gained from her time as a primary producer, having run both sheep and cattle studs and co-owned a paddock-to-plate meat business in South Australia.
