James commened with Elders in 2024 and is a Farm and Rural Supplies Specialist based at Elders Murgon. He holds a Dual Degree - a Bachelor of Agribusiness, and a Bachelor of Sustainable Agriculture (Majoring in Livestock and Poultry Science).
A Gympie local, James also spent a lot of time in the Goomeri area. He enjoys being out on-property, where he can fully understand how a customer's enterprise functions, not just what particular products they may utilise.
In 2023, James was nominated in the Queensland Country Life as one of the 'Best Young Farmers of the Wide Bay and Burnett Regions.'
In his spare time James runs two Charbray studs with his parents. He is currently the Vice-President of the Gympie Beef Group Inc, which facilitates extension activities and allows primary producers of the Wide Bay & Burnett, and the Brisbane Valley regions to stay up-to-date with beef industry trends and issues. He was also Vice-Captain of his local cricket club in Gympie.
