Tam-maree Summerfield

Tam-maree commenced with Elders in 2024 and is a Farm and Rural Supplies Manager based at Elders Mackay.

Growing up in the bush as part of a generational farming family gave Tam-maree a deep appreciation for the resilience and innovation needed in agriculture, and a passion for livestock health and nutrition.

She has worked in the rural industry for over a decade, starting in customer service, then moving into sales roles which allowed her to build strong relationships with producers across the region. She enjoys supporting the productivity and wellbeing of our customers’ herds.

Tam-maree, in conjunction with Branch Manager Geoff Sutton was responsible for the All Things Beef Expo, held at the Mackay Showgrounds earlier this year. Bringing together sponsors, suppliers, and some of the country’s most respected and innovative speakers, the result was a hugely successful event that delivered cutting-edge technology, practical solutions, and inspiring stories. It is now set to be an annual event on the calendar.

In her spare time Tam-maree loves being outdoors - whether it’s helping out on the family property, spending time with animals, or exploring the bush. She enjoys catching up with mates at local events, supporting community initiatives, and staying connected with the land. She also enjoys learning about new innovations in agriculture and how they can be applied practically on-farm.
