Scott Burley

Scott commenced with Elders in 1993 and is the Branch Manager at Elders Taree. 

Raised on a dairy farm, Scott spent much of his early working life working on local farms. He then worked at a farm supplies business that was later purchased by Elders. He later transferred to Elders Goulburn where he worked as a  merchandise manager for  six years before moving to his current position. 

Reflecting on his time with Elders, Scott says "30 years, three towns and three different job titles has shown me a lot in the industry. Leaving school at 15 and working my way to branch manager shows that if you want to have a go that you can achieve many things".

Scott loves the client interaction in his job and seeing the successes that the team helps create. He says it's an industry of high highs and low lows and making sure that clients succeed during both these times is important. The farmers become your mates so to help a mate out is easy work.

In his spare time Scott runs approximatey 100 Angus cattle. He enjoys spending time with his family including five grandkids. He also loves a beer and a barbeque. These day he watches more sport than he plays.
