David Rankin

David commenced with Elders in 2021 and is the Wool Manager for Mildura and Stud Stock representative for Victoria and the Riverina, supporting wool producers across the region. He brings over 45 years of experience in the Merino industry, including 30 years in the stud Merino sector to the role. 

Having grown up in a family deeply involved in the industry, David has dedicated his career to supporting wool producers across the region.

Since joining Elders five years ago, David has been known for his honest, reliable approach and his passion for working with people. He takes great satisfaction in classing quality flocks and helping clients prepare their clips to achieve the best possible results. His extensive experience managing large Merino operations gives him valuable insight into what producers need to succeed.

David believes Elders Wool stands out thanks to its professional selling team and state-of-the-art Ravenhall facility. A highlight of his career to-date has been seeing his clients succeed in ewe competitions, a reflection of their dedication and the value of strong partnerships.

In his spare time David enjoys spending time with his family and staying connected to the industry he loves.
