Elders has strengthened its partnership with agricultural drone supplier Australia Agritech (AA) after a series of successful drone demonstration days held across Esperance, Albany and Geraldton.
The events showcased AA’s range of DJI mapping, spraying and spreading drones, including the flagship DJI T 100, generating strong interest and contributing to several sales.
The DJI T 100 - the largest and most advanced model in DJI’s agricultural line up - was the centrepiece of the demonstrations, attracting growers interested in boosting precision, efficiency and capacity across spraying, spreading and lifting tasks.
“The demonstration days in the Esperance, Albany and Geraldton region showed that drones have an increasing role on farms to improve efficiency of inputs, aid with labour tasks and offer high versatility,” said Craig White, State Advisory Services Manager, WA.
“With AA’s DJI T 100, growers in WA can now use the drone to undertake spraying, spreading and lifting operations, all of which can contribute strongly to increased farm productivity and return on investment,” Mr White said.
Elders’ agronomy team is also progressing training to incorporate drone mapping into paddock assessments and advisory support, helping clients access more accurate, data driven insights.
AA has partnered with Elders at the Dowerin Machinery Field Days for the past two years, where drone demonstrations have consistently drawn interest and highlighted the rapid adoption of ag tech across WA. Clients are encouraged to contact their local Elders branch for drone availability, spare parts and expert guidance, with additional branches expected to host demonstrations in 2026.
